Terms & Conditions

Triton Plumbing – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all plumbing, drain, sewer, and trenchless services performed by Triton Plumbing. Acceptance of any estimate, proposal, or invoice constitutes agreement to the following terms.

General Workmanship Warranty

Triton Plumbing provides an eighteen (18) month warranty on labor for standard plumbing service work performed by Triton Plumbing.
This warranty covers defects or failure due solely to improper installation or workmanship performed by Triton Plumbing.
This warranty applies only to the specific repair performed and does not extend to other components of the plumbing system.
This warranty does not cover failures caused by normal wear and tear, product defects, water quality issues, system age, misuse, or conditions outside Triton Plumbing’s control.

Manufacturer Equipment & Material Warranties

Certain products and materials used by Triton Plumbing, including trenchless lining systems, may carry manufacturer warranties.
When applicable, customers may benefit from manufacturer warranties (such as HammerHead Trenchless or other approved systems), which may provide extended coverage on materials.
These warranties are separate from Triton Plumbing’s labor warranty and are subject to the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
Customers must notify Triton Plumbing promptly of any issue that may qualify for a manufacturer warranty claim.
Triton Plumbing is not responsible for manufacturer warranty denials.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, labor to remove and reinstall manufacturer-warranted products is not included.

Drain Cleaning Services

Drain cleaning services are intended to restore flow in the existing piping system but do not repair damaged piping.
Due to the nature and condition of existing drain systems, no long-term warranty is provided on drain cleaning services.
Triton Plumbing provides a 30-day service guarantee for the same drain line that was serviced under normal usage conditions.
This guarantee does not apply if the clog is caused by:
• Wipes, paper towels, hygiene products, or foreign objects
• Grease or improper disposal of food waste
• Tree root intrusion
• Broken, collapsed, deteriorated, or offset piping
• Structural defects in the piping system

Drain Cleaning and Hydro-Jetting Risk Disclosure

Drain cleaning and hydro-jetting services are performed using mechanical and high-pressure equipment designed to remove blockages.
Because many drain and sewer systems are aged, deteriorated, root-damaged, or structurally compromised, cleaning may expose or worsen pre-existing defects.
Triton Plumbing is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing pipe defects, deterioration, root intrusion, offsets, or structural weakness revealed during the cleaning process.

Temporary Backups During Cleaning

Temporary backups may occur during drain cleaning or hydro-jetting.
Triton Plumbing will take reasonable precautions but is not responsible for damage caused by backups resulting from severe blockages or existing system conditions.

Expectation of Further Repairs

Drain cleaning services restore flow but do not repair structural defects.
Additional repairs may be required if piping is broken, collapsed, root-infested, or deteriorated.

Sewer Excavation Warranty

Triton Plumbing provides a five (5) year warranty on labor for sewer repairs involving excavation and replacement of underground piping.
This warranty covers failure of the repaired section of sewer line caused solely by improper installation performed by Triton Plumbing.
This warranty applies only to the specific portion of sewer pipe repaired or replaced and does not extend to other portions of the sewer system.
Sewer systems are underground infrastructure and subject to unknown conditions. Triton Plumbing does not guarantee the condition, performance, or structural integrity of portions of the sewer system not repaired or replaced.

Sewer Excavation Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage or failure caused by:
• Tree root intrusion originating outside the repaired section
• Ground movement, soil settlement, frost movement, or shifting soil conditions
• Freeze and thaw cycles common to northern climates
• Excessive external pressure or loading
• Road work, excavation, landscaping, or construction performed after repair
• Damage caused by third parties or utilities
• Improper system use (grease, wipes, foreign objects)
• Acts of God
Surface restoration is not covered unless specifically included in writing.

CIPP Trenchless Pipe Lining Warranty

Triton Plumbing provides warranties based on the type of trenchless installation performed.

Full-Length CIPP Liner Warranty

Triton Plumbing provides a twenty (20) year warranty on full-length CIPP liner installations.
This warranty covers failure due to defects in installation or materials used during the lining process.
This warranty applies only to the specific section of pipe lined by Triton Plumbing.

Sectional / Spot Repair (Permaliner LR3) Warranty

Triton Plumbing performs sectional CIPP repairs using systems such as the Permaliner LR3 for localized defects.
Triton Plumbing provides a five (5) year warranty on sectional (spot repair) liners.
This warranty covers failure due solely to installation defects.

Sectional Repair Limitations

Sectional repairs:
• Address localized defects only
• Do not rehabilitate the entire pipe system
• Depend on surrounding pipe condition
Triton Plumbing does not guarantee the condition or performance of the remaining sewer system outside of the repaired section.

Strategic Placement and Accessibility

Sectional repairs may be installed in locations intended to allow future accessibility.
However, Triton Plumbing does not guarantee non-invasive access in the future.
Excavation or removal of finished surfaces may be required.

General CIPP Warranty Exclusions
• Pre-existing defects outside repaired/lined areas
• Ground movement, freeze-thaw cycles, or soil shifting
• Damage caused by excavation, construction, or landscaping after installation
• Improper system use (grease, wipes, foreign objects)
• Tree root intrusion outside repaired areas
• Damage caused by other contractors or utilities
• Acts of God

Important Distinction

Full-length liners and sectional repairs are different rehabilitation methods with different performance characteristics and warranty periods.
By approving the work, the customer acknowledges this distinction.

Warranty Remedy and Limitations

Triton Plumbing reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to determine the appropriate remedy for any valid warranty claim, including repair, replacement, or refund of the original service amount.
Any warranty repair or replacement does not extend or reset the original warranty period.

Required Warranty Procedure (Sewer & CIPP)

Triton Plumbing must be contacted first before any other contractor performs work.
Failure to do so may void the warranty.
Triton Plumbing is not responsible for damage caused by other contractors, equipment, or unauthorized repair attempts.
